Another Picture Dump.. After this you will be caught up

Inside the Talco Aluminum Factory we convinced our guide to let us take pictures... originally we weren't allowed to b/c of security reasons....this is molten aluminum...my souvenir from the factory a piece of aluminum I found on the ground :)
block of aluminum getting ready to be shipped...huge
more mountains the factory runs 24hours and we found the reason for our random power outages....the TALCO Factory causes many rolling blackouts in Dushanbe which is an hour away by the way...they also claimed that there is no waste from the factory and said look the trees and flowers are still alive around the factory...I'm curious about the water though :/
This picture is from the Zurkona, a Traditional Persian style gym....the guys throw these huge things around for a traditional work out...I only took this pic the rest are videos which you will have to wait for when I get back.
Women's Day,Bashira dressed me up and did my face so we could go to a party at her aunts. the pants were a little short but its whatever,it was hot that day
ahhh all the makeup on face...btw this is considered light makeup
We had to cover out hair because some ladies were coming over to read the Quran and I got to sit in so Bashira did my scarf
Me stuffing my face with fruits afterwards
I'm considered daughter number 2 :)

group pic inside talco, it was cold inside but these blocks were freshly made and emitted alot of heat so it felt good hanging out by them
This is an old picture from Nona's birthday, she is on the left side wearing green, we had dinner at a Chinese restaurant in a hotel, then we went bowling

Now everyone is up to date on my life.Oh women don't drive here, its not that they can't or aren't allowed to they just don't my host brothers were shocked that I have been driving for so long...i responded with "its not hard" I think I might have bruised their man ego. Though I can't drive a stick but they didn't ask so I didn't tell. Upcoming events include a trip to a Mausoleum and hopefully the bazaar with Bashira to buy fabric for traditional dress. its getting really frustrating my pants are harder to put on every week. :/ But the food is tasty...

  1. Dude, it's so hard to eat healthy. Especially when I'm going out most nights and eating so much street food. Although I did snack on some delicious cherry tomatoes yesterday.

Anyway, I just keep thinking about how ridiculously out of shape I'm going to be in when I get back. Ahh!

Btw...convenient how he didn't ask. Haha!
